INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL Middle school is an exciting yet challenging time for students. During this passage from childhood to adolescence, students search for their own unique identity while also nav- igating academics and friends. Your contri- butions to PEF help support: Comprehensive Counselors Because of you, our students have access to comprehensive counselors who work with them in the areas of social-emotional health, academics and college readiness. rough family, school and community partnerships, counselors are committed to creating a safe and fun space where students thrive and feel connected. eir goal is to help develop productive citizens who are resilient, self-advocating and can balance the demands and stressors of life. STEM STEM education is vital in our children's curriculum. It creates critical thinkers and collaborators who graduate school with global awareness and the ability to tackle real-world issues. Because of your support, middle school stu- dents are offered innovative classes such as Automation and Robotics, Design and Mod- eling and Space and Flight. ese courses prepare students for our award-winning high school engineering programs.
