SMERT (Science, Math, Engineering,
Robotics and Technology) at Peninsula
High School has more than 13 competition
teams including CyberPatriots, Robotics,
Solar Engineering and more. Their teams
continue to place in regional, state,
national, and international competitions.
Peninsula High's VEX Robotics Team competed at the World Championship in Houston, advancing
to the semifinals and showcasing their skills on an international stage. The team finished among the
top 8% of more than 3,700 robotics teams from around the world.
Teams completed high-stakes missions
like mapping shipwrecks, collecting water
samples, and simulating offshore wind tur-
bine maintenance. A huge achievement for
our students and their innovative minds!
