SKECHERS FRIENDSHIP WALK
Every October, thousands of students, families,
friends, and community members come together at
the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk for a mem-
orable day of fun, school spirit, and giving back.
Participants walk from the Manhattan Beach Pier to
the Hermosa Beach Pier and back, united in support
of local students and schools.
Since 2009, the event has raised millions of
dollars for the Friendship Foundation and
public education. In 2025, more than 3,700 walkers
joined Team PEF, resulting in a $290,000 contribu-
tion to Peninsula Education Foundation that helps
fund our annual commitment to PVPUSD schools.
Our community continues to be one of the strongest
and most enthusiastic participants in this event year
aer year. We are incredibly grateful to every walker,
donor, volunteer, and supporter whose participa-
tion helps strengthen educational opportunities for
students across all 17 PVPUSD schools.
