College & Career Center Staff School Counselors Counselors are essen- tial in guiding students through the academic and personal challeng- es of high school. They support course selection, academic planning, and college preparation, help- ing students stay on track to graduate and reach their goals. Each year, the PVPUSD Science & Engineering Fair showcases the creativi- ty and talent of our high school students. This year's record 135 projects high- lighted their dedication, with top winners advancing to the Los Angeles County Fair and the prestigious Regeneron ISEF. Science & Engineering Fair STEM Senior Scholarships The STEM programs at both Peninsula and Palos Verdes High Schools are among the most respected in the country. Their student teams consistently perform at a national level, often outscor- ing university competitors in engineering competitions. These programs have helped launch many graduates into top-tier university engineer- ing programs. The College & Career Centers at Peninsula and Palos Verdes High Schools guide students and families through college, career, and financial aid planning. With visits from over 100 college reps each year, students get the support they need to find their best-fit path. High school is a pivotal time when students gain the skills, confidence, and direction they need for the future. With your support, PEF helps ensure they have every opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a high-achieving, supportive environment. Each year, PEF awards two senior scholarships to graduating students who exemplify academic achievement, leadership, and community involve- ment. These scholarships recognize and support students who have made a meaningful impact during their time in PVPUSD.
