The generous contributions from parents, community mem- bers and business supporters have enabled PEF to fund the following: Music Library Aides Music education in elementary school plays a crucial role in nurturing children's overall development. Beyond fostering musical skills, it enhances cognitive abilities such as memory and concentration and promotes emotional expression and creativity. More- over, music education encourages teamwork and collaboration, teaching students valu- able social skills essential throughout their lives. Research studies have produced clear evidence that school library programs staffed by qualified school librarians have a positive impact on student academic achievement. Library aides provide a safe haven for all students to think, create, share and grow. They help build strong students and lifelong readers. Physical Education Certified PE teachers work with students daily, encouraging a balanced lifestyle that enhances self-discipline, boosts self-esteem and improves academic performance. Regular PE classes are fundamental to promoting student wellness and help improve social skills through teamwork and cooperation, fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment.
