Dear Friends, Laura Hughes, Executive Director, PEF Jen Mentesana, President, PEF Board of Trustees The 2021-2022 school year gave us much to be grateful for. We saw our children and teachers come back to in-person learning, and we are humbled by the generosity of our community. As a result of your commitment to enhance educational programs and student opportunities, PEF gifted $2.1 million to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District to benefit all of our students at 17 schools. Thank you to every single person who donated to PEF this past school year. Our PVPUSD students benefit from out- standing programs and teachers that YOU helped make possible. With your support, we are able to fund counselors, College and Career Centers, STEM programs, elementary music, PE teachers, librarians, teacher grants and more. Whether you are a parent in the district, an alumnus, a grandparent, a teacher or administrator, a local business owner or simply call PV home, together we can ensure that our schools and beloved Palos Verdes Peninsula will always be a place for children and adults alike to thrive. Our schools are the glue that holds this community together, and with your help, we can continue providing the quality program- ming and exceptional teachers that have been the hallmark of a Palos Verdes Peninsula public school education. Thank you for your continued commitment and support. Great things are on the horizon! With much appreciation,
