At Palos Verdes High School, PVIT (Palos
Verdes Institute of Technology) offers
hands-on training in electronics, robotics,
fabrication and programming. Their com-
petition teams continue to place in region-
al, state, national and international events.
This year, PVIT's VEX team qualifited for the
VEX World Championships in Dallas. In ad-
dition, The ROV team won 1st place in the
MATE ROV Regionals which qualified them
for the World Championships, where they
finished in an impressive 7th place.
