This rich wine has a blackberry hue with scents of rich leather, cooked caramel,
berries and forest floor. It is youthfully forward on the palate, supple and ap-
pealing with rich concentration. Tannins are abundant and persist throughout a
layering of textural sensation. The richness of this wine correlates with the fine
dust of the Napa Valley soils. The finish expresses oak (French barrel) and Cay-

630 Kenzo Estate Ai Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2014
"Ai" means indigo in Japanese and references the similarities between wine-
making and the traditional Japanese art of creating indigo dye. This is an ex-
ceptional cabernet sauvignon made from the vineyard's highest quality,
deliberately selected fruit. It exudes a rich beautiful dark indigo color and ap-
pealing aromas of creme de cassis, crushed stones and cedar.
