662 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend 2001 This wine starts with tons of rich new oak in the aroma, showing the most in- viting notes of cedar, cigar box and pencil lead that segue to the remarkable fruit. The attack is powerful with a punch of cassis spreading broadly and deep- ly across the palate. With its sturdy, clean tannins, this beautiful wine displays classic power, elegance and balance. Wine Enthusiast – 95 points Donors: Ryan and Jennifer Yakubik Value: $400 663 Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch Matured in made-to-order casks and created from a combination of the oldest and rarest Glenmorangie whiskeys, Signet uses high roasted "chocolate" malt barley and is unchill-filtered. The velvety taste follows a nose of chocolate torte and treacle plum pudding. Donors: Sean and Maria O'Connor Value: $190 664 Cheval des Andes 2014 Intense red color with purple shades, this bordeaux's nose is subtle, whipsered and precise, but at the same time wide and enveloping. It reveals delicate fresh aromas such as violet and pepper in harmony with warmer notes of raspberry and black fruits. Its full-body, manifested from the mouth entry, is accompanied by very fine tannins that converge in a tense finish with marked acidity and freshness.
