In 1999, Suzanne and her husband Shane Pavitt bought 23 acres on Silverado Trail
in the Napa Valley, and so began the adventure that would become the Phifer Pavitt
Winery. A native of Ringgold, Georgia, Suzanne's fiery passion and moxie made
her a natural to blaze the trail for the fledgling winery and build it into the highly
successful brand it is today. The name "Date Night" represents the winery's flagship
Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc and serves as an ever-present reminder
of the couple's weekly commitment to each other.
